A man helping to deal with a traffic accident on the Yeongdong Expressway this morning lost his life in a secondary accident.

A truck and a car that were horribly broken down are standing on a narrow shoulder.
At around 1:20 am this morning, there was a triple collision accident on the Yeongdong Expressway.

Last year, on the Yeongdong Expressway, a truck crashed into two vehicles, killing one and seriously injuring another.
In the last 5 years, there have been 258 secondary accidents on highways across the country, and 151 people have lost their lives.
The fatality rate is 58%, which is 7 times higher than that of the first accident.
