Lee Chang Won-ho defeated Lebanon 2-1 to finish with all four rounds of U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers

Lee Chang-wonho finished the Asian Cup qualifying round with all four wins.

The U-19 national soccer team, led by head coach Lee Chang-won, defeated Lebanon 2-1 in the fourth Group C match of the 2025 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-20 Asian Cup qualifying round at Abdullah Alcalipa Stadium in Kuwait on the 29th (Korea time).

Team Korea led Lebanon with Hong Seok-hyun’s first goal in the 15th minute of the first half. Eight minutes later, Lee Chang-woo’s additional goal was scored. Afterwards, Lebanon lost one goal but made no additional goal. 안전놀이터

Team Korea has swept Lebanon, following Kuwait, the North Mariana Islands, and the United Arab Emirates. It has achieved four consecutive wins. Lee Chang-won will play in the U-20 Asian Cup finals to be held in China in February next year.

The U-20 Asian Cup finals, in which 16 teams participate, are at stake in qualifying for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup finals, and tickets to the U-20 World Cup will be given up to fourth place.
