NBA Daily Injury Report (Nov. 18): Bradley Beal Injury Flares Up, Out 3 Weeks

There are 11 games on tap for the NBA today, a combination of regular season play and in-season tournaments. For the Phoenix Suns, the recent return of Devin Booker (27, 198 cm) made the team feel complete, but the celebration was short-lived. Bradley Beal (30, 193 cm) has been ruled out for the foreseeable future due to a reoccurrence of his back injury. Beal, who was a late addition to the team after struggling with a back injury earlier in the season, reaggravated the injury in a recent game and is expected to be out for about three weeks. It’s not a return in three weeks, but a re-evaluation, so it’s unclear when he’ll return. This leaves Phoenix with just one game with its big three of Kevin Durant (35, 211 cm), Booker and Beal, which has been frustrating for team officials. In Beal’s absence, the starting shooting guard spot will be filled by veteran Eric Gordon (34, 190 cm).

On the other hand, Jaylen Brown (27, 198 cm) and Kristaps Porzingis (28, 218 cm), who missed the last game against the Philadelphia 76ers due to illness and a knee bruise, respectively, practiced with the team and are expected to play against the Raptors. Similarly, Yanis Adetokunbo (28, 211 cm), who missed the last game against Toronto with a minor calf injury, has been cleared to play against the Charlotte Hornets.

Meanwhile, Donovan Mitchell (27, 190 cm) will miss the game against the Detroit Pistons with a hamstring injury, while Joel Embiid’s (29, 213 cm) availability will not be determined until just before the game. For reference, Embiid, who is on the injured reserve list with a sore left hip, has yet to miss a game this season. 캡틴토토
