Saudi football coach ‘Al-Nasr’ Garcia fired because of Ronaldo?

Cristiano Ronaldo’s team, Saudi professional soccer team Al-Nassr, has fired head coach Rudi Garcia (France).

Al-Nassr announced on the 13th (local time) that “the club has decided to terminate the contract with coach Garcia by mutual agreement.”

Coach Garcia, who took the helm of Al-Nasr in July of last year after going through AS Roma (Italy), Olympique Marseille, and Olympique Lyonnais (above France), was effectively sacked after not completing one year.

Local media reported that the reason for the dismissal was the disagreement between Ronaldo and other players and coach Garcia.

Coach Garcia openly criticized the players’ performances, saying, “The result is bad. I am not satisfied with the players.”메이저놀이터

Al-Nasr aimed for the top of the league by recruiting Ronaldo in December of last year.

However, in the Saudi Pro League this season, it is in second place (53 points) behind Al Itihad (56 points).

Names such as Jose Mourinho of Roma are being discussed as the successor to Garcia.

Al-Nasr is for the time being led by Under-19s coach Dinko Jelicic.

Caught in discord, Ronaldo posted a picture taken with director Garcia on his social network service (SNS) and said goodbye, saying, “I was happy to work together. I wish you a lot of good things in the future.”
