At around 8:30 pm on the 25th, an accident occurred in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu스포츠토토, Seoul, where a Mercedes-Benz car hit a taxi and rushed into a restaurant. The driver who caused the accident was the wife of singer Seol Woon-do (65). It is known that Seol and her son were in the car together at the time.
According to the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul on the 26th, an accident occurred at around 8:30 pm on the 25th, the previous day, when a Mercedes-Benz car hit a taxi and rushed into a restaurant in an alley near Soonchunhyang University Hospital in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu.
Ten people, including bystanders and pedestrians, were injured in this accident, five of whom were taken to the hospital. Two parked cars were also damaged.
As a result of the police investigation, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle was actress Lee Su-jin (62), the wife of singer Seol Woon-do. Seol and his son were in the car together at the time of the accident, but it was reported that Seol’s family did not suffer any major injuries.
The police said that Mr. Lee was not drinking or taking drugs. It is known that Mr. Lee’s side is claiming vehicle defects such as sudden acceleration.
Seoul Yongsan Police Station has booked Mr. Lee without detention and is investigating the exact cause of the accident.
