Munich League + UCL Win ‘Red Bull’… Neuer Dropped German Team Due to Burst of Insulate Muscle

World Class goalkeeper Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich) was injured in training and dropped out of the German national football team.

The German Football Federation (DFB) announced on its official website on the 20th (Korea Standard Time) that “Manuel Neuer will not be able to play in the upcoming two international matches against France and the Netherlands as he leaves the German national soccer team early.”

Germany, which will host the 2024 UEFA European Championship (hereinafter referred to as Euro 2024), which will be held in June, decided to hold a friendly match with France and the Netherlands during the A-match period in March.

Germany, ranked 16th in the FIFA rankings, will first play an away match against France, ranked second in the FIFA rankings, at 5 a.m. on the 24th, and face the sixth-ranked Netherlands at 4:45 a.m. on the 27th.

Ahead of the final mock test ahead of Euro 2024, German soccer team captain and legendary goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was injured during training and was forced to leave the national team.

Regarding Neuer’s injury, DFB said, “Neuer was injured during training this Wednesday (20th),” adding, “He had to leave his team’s accommodation near Grabenbruck in Frankfurt due to a ruptured muscle fiber in his left adductor muscle.”

With Neuer’s departure from the national team, Germany is expected to hit one of Marc-Andre Ter Stegen (Barcelona), Bernd Leno (Fullam) and Oliver Baumann (Hopenheim) in the upcoming two-game friendly between France and the Netherlands if there is no call-up for a replacement.

Meanwhile, news of Neuer’s injury caused Munich to sigh. With the 2023-24 season drawing to a close, a number of injuries to Munich, including club captain and “No. 1” goalkeeper Neuer, have begun.

Munich scored a large number of goals in the 26th round of the Bundesliga against Darmstadt on the 16th to win 5-2 on the road, but failed to laugh much because there were two injuries.

World Class striker Harry Kane, who scored on the day, threw himself to score in the second half, only to see his left ankle hit the post strongly. Kane was eventually replaced after suffering a severe ankle shock.

Kane, who is believed to have sprained his ankle, was included in the A-match list in March and joined the English national soccer team. According to the BBC, Kane has yet to play in the ground and is receiving training indoors with several players.

Veteran left-back Rafael Geheiro, who has been starting in the last seven consecutive games, was also injured in the match against Darmstadt and was out of power. Geheiro, who was replaced in the second half, later decided to drop out of the Portugal national soccer team after a thorough examination confirmed that his left thigh muscle fiber was torn.

Midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic, who was born in 2004 and is a young player in Munich this season, joined the German national team for the first time as he was included in the A-match list in March, but had to postpone his A-match debut when he was dropped from the national team due to tonsillitis.

Sasha Boy, who was hired during the winter transfer market in January, also suffered a torn left thigh muscle during recent training and will not be able to play in the next few weeks.

Fortunately, Kingsley Coman and Nusair Mazrawi, who have been on the injured list so far, have returned to training and are raising their physical condition during the A-match break. 퀸알바

Munich, which is aiming to win its 12th consecutive league title, is increasingly unlikely to win the Bundesliga title with eight games to go until the end of the season. Munich is currently ranking second, just behind Bayer Leverkusen (70 points), with 19 wins, three draws and four losses. Leverkusen has yet to lose a single game in all of its competitions, widening its gap with Munich to 10 points, and thus nearing its first major league championship since its foundation.
