According to a copy of the Supreme Court register confirmed by Dong-A Ilbo on the 10th, Mr. Park, the spouse of former county governor Jeong, bought a total of 853㎡ (about 258 pyeong) of 3 parcels of land in Asin-ri, Okcheon-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do on December 8, 2020 for 345.7 million won. was This land was an empty lot in front of the house where former county governor Jeong and his spouse lived. Park bought land in this area in 2000 and is said to be living with her husband, former county governor Jeong, in a two-story detached house built the following year.
Park purchased the land four months before the results of the preliminary feasibility study for the Seoul-Yangpyeong Expressway were announced. At that time, the route plan included the installation of Yangpyeong Junction ( JC ) , the end of the highway, at the boundary between Yangseo-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, and Okcheon-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, where Mr. Park purchased additional land . Jeong’s house is about 2km away from the Yangpyeong Junction. Including this land, former county governor Jeong and his spouse own 2200㎡ (about 666 pyeong) of land in 14 parcels in Asin-ri, Okcheon-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun.
